1st Place Sweepstakes | 2nd Place Ensemble Scene
First Stage's Young Company takes a group of 10-15 students to the Utah Shakespeare Festival every year. For this year's competition, our ensemble scene was called "Infinite Jest." We performed a medley of different Shakespeare scenes highlighting different fools as if walking through the life of Yorick, the King's Jester in Hamlet.

Monologue: Shame by Sheryl L. West
This past winter and spring I participated in the Next Narrative Monologue Competiton alongside 9 other young Wisconsin actors, and then 17 other young actors from various cities across the country. I was honored to win 1st place at the National Level, and second place at Milwaukee Repetory Theater because who doesn't love "Silver getting silver."

Monologue: Hermione - A Winter's Tale 3.2
The first time I went to the Utah Shakespeare Festival, I did a monologue from A Winter's Tale and ended up being asked to perform in the showcase. Following the showcase was the awards ceremony, where I recieved first place in the essex division and the Barbara Barrett Scholarship. Our group scene was a 10 minute version of Romeo and Juliet, which took home second place, but Team Yorick still had the highest total score from all of our events combined.
